14.9.06: TSLM Treasure Hunt.
Treasure hunters could be seen out and about in Torrisholme and Bare on Sunday (Sept 10th), tracking down clues, enjoying the sunshine and helping to raise funds for TSLM's campaign against the monster road.
Clues were fiendish and challenging, and even residents who have lived in the locality for years struggled with some of them - where exactly is the house that "...welcomes you backwards"?
Well done to Janet & Gerry Maguire for setting such a brilliant hunt for the adults and to Jill Draper for setting the children’s clues.
And thanks to all the TSLM enthusiasts for organising delicious snacks and drinks to be enjoyed while waiting for the individual set-off times, and for relaxing with after completing the challenge.
