22.9.06: TSLM Cross Bay Walk.

TSLM people had a marvellous day in a sponsored Cross Bay Walk to raise funds for TSLM's Fighting Fund.

Conditions were excellent, neither too hot nor too cold. We crossed the Bay with a tractor following, in case anyone got into difficulties, and helped pets across the channels. Transport was laid on to bring us home, and on return to base, Liz Bott provided welcome coffee and freshly baked scones. The cost was reasonable, and included a certificate to mark our memorable achievement.

We raised an impressive £900 for TSLM funds, from over 80 generous sponsors, whom we thank heartily.
