1.11.06: Development Control meeting today - Webcast live

The Development Control Committee will hear the plans for the Heysham M6 Link Road today at 10am. This is being covered live on a webcast, which can be found by clicking on the link below:

TSLM have been working hard behind the scenes prior to this planning meeting, including a 30 minute presentation to the Devcon Committee yesterday (along with Lancaster & Morecambe College).

The Development Control Committee is expected to be mindful to approve the plans, but we remind everyone, no matter what press releases appear, that they cannot simply pass the plans and go ahead with the road.

They must pass on their decision directly to the Government Office for the North West, who will liase with Ministers on whether to call in the scheme for a public enquiry.
