There’ll be no shame nor pain for you in my bed,-except for the pain I must cause you the first time. And the emotion that is portrayed is very compelling. Byhowever, the genre had exploded, and over 50 new historical romances were being published each month, many of them full-length historicals set in the Regency period like McNaught’s.

Jan 15, Brandi rated it it was amazing Shelves: It was so far removed from the modern world, it made the story so much more captivating and dream-like. This review was posted at My Secret Jidith This is romance at its best!

One of the best fight-to-the-finish love stories! The problem I had with this is book is that I didn’t like the heroine, Jennifer. And when Royce’s brother, Stefan, kidnaps Jennifer and her sister, Brenna, things become personal in more ways than one.

And, she was totally attracted to Royce, flirted with him, and then she slept with him.
